Well May time is upon us and some warm weather at last! Hopefully this Manflu I’ve been suffering will go away now.
So my new album, “Tonight at Noon” has been released and is available to buy in both CD and digital formats. You can follow the buy music link page on my website, or go to,
http://gedwilson.bandcamp.com or via Amazon, iTunes etc and of course the old fashioned way at my gigs!
The album has been featured heavily on radio and made number 13 in the blues charts for April. There have been many favourable reviews too including the full page spread in the Blues in Britain magazine.
I will be celebrating the album launch in Ramsbottom Lancashire on Saturday 7th May at the Doghouse Jazz cellar bar…..so fond along it’s sure to be a good night and it’s free admission too.
With all these top musicians sadly passing away of late it’s a stark reminder that we need to get out and see music live. I saw Half Deaf Clatch and Taj Mahal recently two great masters of their craft and it reminded me how rewarding it is once you make the effort to get out to a gig, so why not challenge yourself to support live music this month…..the footy seasons nearly finished and there’s nowt on telly do get to it!
Next month sees me hitting the festival circuit once again so please check out my gigs page for updates.
As always please keep in touch via the contact page and I look forward to seeing you further on up the road.
