Well June is upon us and hopefully it will be a flaming June as we need some sunshine for the festival season!
So this month in true festival spirit I will be travelling around the country hitting the festival trail starting in the north east on Saturday 18th June at the Durham blues festival. I will be appearing at the Gala Theatre on the blues cafe acoustic stage at 4:30pm with a host of great blues acts.
Then on Sunday 19th June it’s straight down to Cleethorpes for the blues festival where I will be appearing at Pleasure island Cleethorpes, once again on the blues cafe acoustic stage at 4:30pm. For further details of these two festivals please check: www.solidentertainments.com for details.
Then it’s onto the Music at the Crossroads festival in Hook Norton. This all day festival is sited by the famous Hook Norton Brewery so not only is there great music but fine beers too! I shall be on stage at 3pm. Please check: http://www.hookymusic.co.uk for details.
News on the new album “Tonight at Noon” is that since the great launch night at the Doghouse cellar jazz bar the album has has much radio airplay and many reviews including Jazz FM and R2 (rock and reel) magazine. Be sure to get yourself a copy in either digital or CD format. On that note I know a lot of you still like the physical CDs (I do too!) so if you want a cd please head to: https://gedwilson.bandcamp.com or they will be available at my gigs too. Digital downloads can be purchased from all the usual outlets, iTunes, Amazon etc. And of course via my website.
Vote this month….not only on the EU but also for this years British blues awards. Voting is open as of 1st June 2016 for you to vote for your artist of choice in various categories. Your vote will help keep our British blues scene alive and healthy, so why not. Sadly you won’t be able to vote for me as I’m more under the radar cult status but who knows next year…
As always if you have any queries, bookings or just want to say hello please get in touch.

See you further on up the road.
